By accessing and using EdgarViz, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Description of Service

EdgarViz is a financial data visualization service that:

  • Processes publicly available SEC filings
  • Generates interactive Sankey diagrams from income statements
  • Provides educational financial visualizations
  • Offers both free and paid usage tiers

User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree to use EdgarViz only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use automated scripts to exceed usage limits
  • Resell or redistribute our service without permission

Usage Limits

Service usage is subject to the limits of your selected plan:

  • Free Plan: 5 SEC filings per month
  • Paid Plans: As specified in pricing (coming soon based on demand)

Data Sources and Accuracy

EdgarViz processes data from public SEC filings. While we strive for accuracy:

  • All data comes from publicly available sources
  • Visualizations are for educational and informational purposes
  • You should verify important information with original SEC filings
  • EdgarViz is not responsible for investment decisions based on our visualizations

Intellectual Property

The EdgarViz service, including its design, technology, and content, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology
  • Reverse engineer our algorithms or processes
  • Use our trademarks without permission

Limitation of Liability

EdgarViz is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Any investment losses or financial decisions based on our service
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Data accuracy or completeness
  • Third-party content or services

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Update pricing for paid plans
  • Change usage limits based on operational needs

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If you delete your account from settings, your authentication user is deleted from Supabase Auth and your account metadata is marked as deleted; historical run records and generated files may be retained.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where EdgarViz operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
